One of the six drawings, a plan of St. Peter's, dated 2 October 1837, is annotated in the draftsman's hand on the recto, specifying that it represents festive decorations for a canonization ceremony to be celebrated by Pope Gregory XVI. The ceremony on 26 May 1839, which took place after the architect's death, marked the entry into the church calendar of the following saints: Alfonso Maria Liguori, Francesco di Girolamo, Pacifico da San Severino, Giuseppe Giovanni della Croce, and Veronica Giuliani.
